About the event
Since graduating with a 1st class honours in Ceramics from Camberwell College of art in 2006, Emma Fenelon has worked from her studio in Peckham. Her work explores the balance of things; light and dark, hidden and revealed, internal and external. Emma’s sculptures are often set off by shadows, holding depths and mystery. At times both votive and liminal, her work explores the act of dwelling, of inhabiting. Her dramatic garden towers and delightful smaller sculptures featuring animals are rich in narrative, influenced by her childhood seeped in espionage and frequent travel
During this exclusive and intimate event hosted by Katherine, Emma will talk about her work and influences, and give a practical demonstration of her clay sculpting process
